Saharawi Ambassador presents his Credentials to the President of Malawi

Amb. Salha Al-Abd presented, on Thursday 6 March, his letter of credence as an extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador of the Saharawi Republic in Malawi to the President of the Republic of Malawi H.E. Mrs. Joyce Banda.
The Republic of Malawi recognized the SADR since November 16the, 1994.
It has ever since adopted a foreign policy based on the support for Saharawi people’s rights to self-determination and independence.
The accreditation of Mr. Salha Al-Abd to the Republic of Malawi comes just days after Mr. Bah Mad was accredited to the Republic of Kenya.
Malawi, officially the Republic of Malawi, is a landlocked country in southeast Africa bordered by Zambia to the northwest, Tanzania to the northeast, and Mozambique on the east, south and west.
It is member state of the Southern African Development Community (SADC)
