Chahid Al Hafed (refugee camps), March 12, 2014 (SPS) - The Council of Ministers approved, in a meeting held Wednesday, government programme for the year 2014, ahead of being submitted to the Saharawi National Council (Parliament) next Saturday, 15th March 2014.
Chaired by the President of the Republic Mr. Mohamed Abdelaziz, the meeting discussed the ways to build up the organizational construction, boost the capacity of the Saharawi People’s Liberation Army, support the Intifada of Independence, develop the diplomatic action as well as strengthen media and cultural fronts.
It also decided to work in favour of upgrading the level of services, brining the administration closer to citizens, encourage the production, preserve the resources and make stronger the internal front in face of all hostile campaigns.
The Council, on other hand, stressed the need for the United Nations to take responsibility towards the looting of Western Sahara natural resources by Morocco.
It, in this respect, appealed to the UN to pull down the Moroccan-built military wall in Western Sahara, which constitutes a crime against humanity.
The Council of Ministers also renewed commitment of the Saharawi party to the decolonization of the last colony in Africa as quickly as possible. (SPS)
