Addis Ababa, May 24, 2014 (SPS) - A delegation composed of poets, a singer, a researcher in culture and a representative of the Saharawi Ministry of Culture, participated these past days to the events of the ARCH, organized by the AU as part of the commemoration of the 50th Anniversary of the Pan African Organisation.
The event, entitled “Africa Re-imagination Creative Hub (ARCH)” is organized from the 21st of May and will be closed this 25th in the AU Conference Centre in Addis Ababa.
Composed of the Secretary General of the Ministry of Culture, Mr. Mohamed fadel Mustapga, accompanied by the famous Poet, Zaaim Allal, painter, Mohamed Bachir, researcher in culture, Jatri Zein, in addition to the Saharawi singer and composer, Yahya Sid Ahmed, participated actively in the discussions and in the different workshops organized.
ARCH is organised in the context of the OAU/AU 50th Anniversary Year long celebrations and seeks, according to the organisers, “to input into Agenda 2063 through the participation of Africans (on the continent and the diaspora) as informed and transmitted through the African creative economy”.
