Nairobi (Kenya), 31 May 2014 (SPS) - President of Kenya Mr. Uhuru Kenyatta reaffirmed support to the Saharawi people and their just cause, highlighting that Kenya's position is consistent with the requirements of International Law and resolutions of the African Union, in regard to the decolonization issue in the Western Sahara.
"We stand by you and express our support for your people and their just cause and our position is consistent with the requirements of international law and the decisions of the African Union and its policies on the grounds it is an issue of decolonization still preoccupy the continent," Pointed out the Kenyan President during a ceremony to accredit Sahrawi Ambassador Mr. Bah Almed as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Republic of Kenya.
