Madrid, 22/05/2014 (SPS) - Minister of the Occupied Territories and Community Abroad Mohamed wali Akeik participated Wednesday in the Congress on Universal Justice in Madrid organized by the international foundation that bears the name of former Spanish judge Baltasar Garzón.
Discussions focused mainly on the situation of human rights in Western Sahara, Argentina and Chile.
Minister Mohamed wali Akeik denounced the situation in the occupied territories of Western Sahara and daily abuses suffered by the Sahrawi population commited by the Moroccan occupying forces amid an absence of observers and international media.
He confirmed that social networks reveal daily the Morocco practices, especially following the outbreak of the uprising (intifada) of independence in May 2005, as well as the testimonies of Saharawi activists of human rights in forums and seminars worldwide. (SPS)
