Copenhagen, April 23, 2015 (SPS) - The Danish
Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Martin Lidegaard, said his government’s
point of view is that MINURSO mandate should include human rights,
voicing support to the UN significant efforts to find solution to the
conflict of Western Sahara.
In reply to a question by MP Christian Juhl, from the Red-Green Alliance Party, the Minister appealed to France, permanent member of the UN Security Council, to take responsibility for its policies, reacting to a question about what actions Danish government has taken to secure that France will not yet again block a permanent UN-monitoring of the human rights situation in occupied Western Sahara.
