The National Secretariat of the Polisario Front on Tuesday condemned
the negative role played by France in the conflict of Western Sahara,
through its continued support to Morocco’s expansionist and colonial
policies.In a communiqué issued at the end of its 11th regular session, the National Secretariat of the Frente Polisario held France responsible for the prolongation of the conflict in Western Sahara, urging it to consider implementing international legitimacy and thus ending the suffering of the Saharawi people.
The communiqué also requested France to contribute “effectively” in the protection of peace, security and stability in the entire region. (SPS)
