Abuja (Nigeria), June 04, 2015 (SPS) - the foreign
ministry of Nigeria reiterated on Tuesday Nigeria firm position to the
independence of Sahrawi people in a letter addressed by Mr. ShehuRabiu
representing the charged’ affair of the Minister in Abuja International
Conference.
“Ourposition derived from Nigeria's history and traditions in support all the African liberation movements such as our support to the struggle of South Africa against apartheid.” saidthe ministry
The ministry also stressed that “Nigeria in the framework of AU spare no effort to accelerate decolonization process in Western Sahara and the application of AU decisions, especially those in related tothe organization of fair and democratic referendum.SPS
