Bir Lehlou (liberated territories), June 23, 2014 (SPS) - President of the Republic, Secretary general of the Polisario Front Mr. Mohamed Abdelaziz sent Sunday a congratulatory message to the President of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, H.E. Mr. Mohamed Ould Abdel Aziz, following his re-election to a second term at the helm of Mauritania.
"We have received with great pleasure and satisfaction the news of your deserved victory of a second term in the presidential election. On this occasion, allow me to express to Your Excellency, on my own behalf and on behalf of the people and Government of the Saharawi Republic, my warmest and sincere congratulations wishing you all success in your noble mission and more progress and prosperity for Mauritania," wrote President Mohamed Abdelaziz.
He also expressed his satisfaction for the excellent fraternal, cultural and historic relations happily exist between the two brotherly peoples of Mauritania and SADR, reiterating willingness of the SADR government to further strengthen and deepen these relationships to the benefit of both countries.
